Agents reach Olympus the same way applications do. The REST API is the source of truth. The MCP server wraps a few of its endpoints as tools, and machine-readable indexes describe what is live, what it covers and what it costs. Every answer carries its provenance. Quotas and metering are the same as for REST.

Data tools exist only for live APIs. Each tool call makes the REST requests listed below with your key. Each request counts against your quota like any other request.

An agent must respect these limits when it presents the data. Tools return the same limits in their output. See coverage and sources for the full list.
ACS 5-year ZCTAs and counties in the 50 states, DC and Puerto Rico.
Only the SST member states Olympus has published; GET /v1/sales-tax/coverage lists them and their dates. Every other state is answered as unsupported, with no rate.
SEC registrants in the EDGAR submissions archive, with tickers as mapped by the SEC.
The other 32 catalogue APIs are planned. The tools list them as planned and make no coverage, accuracy or pricing claims about them.
meta.datasets, each record's provenance block and the response's request_id.get_remaining_usage (or GET /v1/usage/remaining) shows how much quota is left. Send an Idempotency-Key header to retry a request without being counted twice.
